SEXUAL HARASSMENT IN THE WORKPLACE
We represent clients throughout the the state of Minnesota, in workplace harassment litigation. We represent employees and employers, bringing and defending lawsuits, resolving matters through arbitration and mediation, and counseling employers on how to prevent harassment in the workplace.
WAGE/OVERTIME (FLSA COMPLIANCE)
The Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) establishes minimum wage, overtime
pay, recordkeeping, and youth employment standards affecting employees in the private sector and in Federal, State, and local governments.
Covered nonexempt workers are entitled to a minimum wage of not less than $7.25 per hour effective July 24, 2009. Overtime pay at a rate not less than one and one-half times the regular rate of pay is required after 40 hours of work in a workweek.

Mr. Satre represents small and large clients in all aspects of employment
litigation including mediation, settlement, arbitration, trial, and appellate
practice, if necessary. Mr. Satre's extensive experience in successfully
handling and resolving employment litigation issues includes such areas as:
WHISTLEBLOWER FALSE CLAIMS
Counseling employers on state and federal whistleblower laws and the False Claims Act and successfully defending them in related litigation. We regularly assist our clients in drafting whistleblower policies, investigating complaints by purported whistleblowers, and navigating thorny issues implicating complex regulatory schemes.
We have extensive experience litigating whistleblower claims before Minnesota trial and appellate courts on behalf of employees and are well versed on the intricacies of the state’s complex whistleblower statutes.
