Fee Options & Initial Consultation
Effective legal services and favorable results for our clients are the product of skill, experience, and time. These elements along with filing fees, service fees, court costs, copying, filing, messengers, and third-party research tools, deposition costs, mediation fees, and the use of expert witnesses (when applicable), contribute to the overall cost of accessing the legal process. Depending on the case, we offer an hourly rate or a flat rate. We maintain detailed logs of the time spent on your case. We count in ten minute increments and round down when in-between them. Work logs will be disclosed to all clients upon the closing of a case. We only work for as long as a case requires, so you’ll never be overbilled for unproductive time. Partner rates fall between $350 and $500 per hour while our paralegals charge between $80 and $100 per hour. Retainers must be paid up front. Contingency fee agreements are possible for employees claims based on a thorough review of the file. Mr. Satre offers a free initial one hour consultation for prospective new clients.
